Roundwise Privacy Policy

English version of the policy above. If the two differ, the Japanese text is authoritative.

Your data

Roundwise ("the app") stores your timers' names, work / rest / get-ready seconds, round counts, block chains and your Pro purchase status only on your device, in the app's own container. The app does not send them to the developer's servers and does not share them with third parties. There is no account and no advertising.

Sound and the Lock Screen

So the beeps never stop, the app keeps playing audio in the background while a timer is running. When you end or stop the timer, the audio ends. The microphone is never used and nothing is recorded. The Lock Screen and Dynamic Island display (Live Activity) is updated on your device; no notifications are used.

Apple Health

Only if you turn on "Save workouts to Health" in Settings, each timer you finish (or stop after at least a minute) is written to the Health app on your device as a workout (its type and start and end times). Timer names are not written. The app reads nothing from Health. Health data never leaves your device and is never sent to the developer's servers. It is never used for advertising, ad measurement, or shared with data brokers. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app (profile › Apps › Roundwise).

Anonymous usage

To improve the app, the following anonymous records are sent to the developer's server.

• The kind of action taken, such as opening the app, starting or finishing a timer, or saving or deleting a timer
• Which screen showed the Pro offer, and which feature triggered it; purchase and restore attempts and whether they succeeded
• That a widget was displayed, and its size
• Where a timer was started from (the app, a widget, the Lock Screen or a Control)
• The timer's length in seconds, and whether it was a single timer or chained blocks
• The number of saved timers (never their names)
• Whether Pro has been purchased
• That the Lock Screen display (Live Activity) failed to start
• That a rating request or a guide was shown
• That saving to Health was turned on or off, and whether a workout was written, with its type and length (seconds)
• App version, OS version and language setting
• A random identifier generated on the device (deleted when you delete the app)
• The country of the connection (IP addresses are not stored)

The following are never sent:

• Your content — the names of your timers
• Contact details such as name, email address, phone number or postal address
• Advertising identifier (IDFA) or device identifier (IDFV)
• Location
• IP address
• Audio (the microphone is never used)

These records are not used to serve or measure advertising, are not sold or given to data brokers, and are not linked with any third party's tracking data. No third-party analytics SDK is included.

You can stop sending at any time from Settings (gear) > Privacy > "Share anonymous usage". Stopping also deletes any records not yet sent from the device.
