Slowdial Privacy Policy

English version of the policy above. If the two differ, the Japanese text is authoritative.

Your data

Slowdial ("the app") stores your timer durations, sequences (each step's name, picture and time), your favorite timer, the disc color, the dial setting and your Pro purchase status only on your device, in the app's own container. The app does not send them to the developer's servers and does not share them with third parties. There is no account and no advertising.

Sound and notifications

The end sound and vibration are local notifications scheduled on your device (for sequences, also at each step change). No push notification server is used. You can change notification permission at any time in the iPhone Settings app. The Lock Screen and Dynamic Island disc (Live Activity) is drawn on your device. The microphone is never used.

Apple Health

Only if you turn on "Save workouts to Health" in Settings, each interval you finish (or stop after at least a minute) is written to the Health app on your device as a workout (its type and start and end times). Plain timers and sequences are not written, and timer names are not written. The app reads nothing from Health. Health data never leaves your device and is never sent to the developer's servers. It is never used for advertising, ad measurement, or shared with data brokers. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app (profile › Apps › Slowdial).

Anonymous usage

To improve the app, the following anonymous records are sent to the developer's server.

• The kind of action taken, such as opening the app, pausing, resuming or finishing a timer, or creating a sequence
• Which screen showed the Pro offer, and which feature triggered it; purchase and restore attempts and whether they succeeded
• That a widget was displayed, and its size
• Where a timer was started or stopped from (a widget, the Lock Screen or a Control)
• Whether it was a single timer or a sequence
• That Classroom mode was opened, left, or tapped
• That the Lock Screen disc (Live Activity) was turned on or off, started, or failed to start
• The number of sequences (never their names)
• Whether Pro has been purchased
• That a rating request or a guide was shown
• That saving to Health was turned on or off, and whether a workout was written, with its type and length (seconds)
• App version, OS version and language setting
• A random identifier generated on the device (deleted when you delete the app)
• The country of the connection (IP addresses are not stored)

The following are never sent:

• Your content — the names of your timers and steps
• Contact details such as name, email address, phone number or postal address
• Advertising identifier (IDFA) or device identifier (IDFV)
• Location
• IP address

These records are not used to serve or measure advertising, are not sold or given to data brokers, and are not linked with any third party's tracking data. No third-party analytics SDK and no advertising SDK is included.

You can stop sending at any time from Settings (gear) > Privacy > "Share anonymous usage". Stopping also deletes any records not yet sent from the device.
